Zhao Xue is a Chinese chess player and the 24th person to earn the grandmaster title in China. She is currently the 11th best female player in China and 17th in the world (as of February 2021).
Zhao won the U-20 World Junior Girls Chess Championship ahead of GM Humpy Koneru in 2002. After this championship, Zhao won three gold medals: team gold, board-four individual gold, and gold for the best rating performance. She became a grandmaster in 2008 and reached her peak FIDE rating of 2579 in 2013.
