In my time as a chess coach I was truly fortunate to work with lots of people. The most important thing that allowed me to improve as a coach is the fact that I worked with students from the age of 8 to over 60. Also, just as important was that many of them were complete beginners, and some of them had a rating of over 2100. This fact forced me to learn how to work with players of different levels and ambitions.
Also, I was a teacher at several chess camps, and I've also accompanied my students in person at some of their tournaments, both of which were very important experiences for my development as a chess coach.
